In memory of "Chinook's Journey"
(May 1969 - Nov 2000)
I remember when I met you, you were just a stranger named Darlene to me.

Little did I know you were going to be
a great friend and a guide in the future to be.

You showed me a horse, Amy was her name.  I liked her a lot but she was sold.  I'm kind of glad because then I was introduced to "Chinook's Journey".

I loved him very much for happiness, sorrow and a new friendship was locked inside of me, and "Chinook was the key.

I wish I was there with you Darlene because not only "Chinook" needed to be held.  November 10th was a horrible day but on remembrance day the soldiers who fought in war will not be the only ones remembered.

Well, if you ever need a friend to talk to, don't ever forget that he was not the only one that cared.
