"The Silver Ghost"
April 21, 2001 saw the very first Reining Show for "The Silver Ghost". It was a fabulous sunny day and Lynda Smith worked well with introducing "The Silver Ghost" to his first experience ever at proving his ability in this athletic event. We understood going into this, that the day could prove interesting because of the minimal amount of time Lynda has had on his back so far. Much to our surprise and oh what a thrill it was, to see the potential flowing out of this magnificent horse! The Judge at this Open Show was impressed and said that he "had what it takes" which is all we needed to hear that day. Looks like the fans of "The Silver Ghost" will see more of this kind of display in the months to come! Wouldn't it be a shame to waist such exuberant talent in such a powerful animal?...
April 22,2001 we all hit but another show to strut 'his' stuff in a Reining class! This one was an IAHA show put on by the B.C. Half Arabian Association. Our class was at 7:30 a.m. and perhaps we would be asking for too much too soon.... Not a chance! His ride on this day was even better than the day before, showing once again where this horses career is destined to be! We are so proud and thrilled to be fortunate enough to own such a multi talented Stallion. Also, we are blessed with having met 'Lynda Smith' of Maple Ridge, BC with whom we know this could not happen without!
*Expect tons more updates such as this in the weeks and months to come
