Dearest Creator in Heaven,
Give me strength to guide my horse.
Make my hands soft and my head clear.
Let my horse understand me and I him.

My heart you have blessed with a special love of these animals.
Let me never lose sight of it.
My soul you have gifted with a deep need for them.
Let that need never lessen.

Always let my breath catch as the sun gleams on an elegant head.
Always may my throat tighten at the sound of a gentle nicker.

News from the Farm:

CHINOOK ARABIANS & STABLES has moved!
Surrounded by nature and some of the best riding trails this side of the Fraser River; Bob and Darlene have purchased a charming Modern Country Rancher on some gorgeous acreage in the North Thornhill area of Maple Ridge, BC.
The Farm has never had horses before now so there was much work to be done. The New Paddocks, some fencing and a New Sand Riding Arena are now completed with a Barn being next on the Agenda for this spring.
Bob and Darlene are both excited and know there will be many fun times and happy memories created from the new Farm as they welcome Family, Friends and Visitors to share a piece of thier serenity.

Sunesta's Silver Canvas has had an amazing start to the season. She has completed 5 schooling shows where she brought home trophies, and various nice placings. "Cassie" although just three, shows the soul of a 10 year old. So willing to learn, and go to new places. She trailers like a dream, baths, clips and ties well. Travels roads (with traffic) Trails (with river crossings) and is also a sweet ride in the arena. No spook in this girl. Great mount for Jr. rider and a super nice family horse.
